Lindy Hop Strictly
1. Couple registration, with no experience limit. The price is a couple’s fee. A couple is registered only once.
2. Prelims: 3 all-skate heats to DJ music of different random tempos, with the top 16 couples advancing to the semi-finals.
3. Semi-finals: 16 couples will be drawn on-site for a one-on-one competition, with 8 couples advancing to the finals.
4. Finals: Spotlights to live band with 12-bar blues-structured music at a tempo to be determined on the spot. Each couple dances 2 spotlights.
5. Championship Award: The winner will receive 10,000 RMB
I’m Solo
1. Individual registration, with no experience limit. All the dancers will compete on one level. Don’t miss it!
2.Preliminary Round: The host will randomly draw a musician and then a piece of music. Participants (8-10 people) will form a group and each will perform an improvised dance lasting 1.5 to 2 minutes. Each group will dance to 2 songs. Ultimately, 5 participants will advance to the finals.
3.Final Round: Each participant will randomly draw a musician and a piece of music to perform an improvised dance lasting 1.5 to 2 minutes.
Mix & Match
1. Mix & Match is divided into two divisions: open and advanced. The prelims of both divisions will be held at the same time, and competitors will only be able to choose one division to compete in.
2. Individual registration, with no experience limit, and a self-assessment of the dancer’s level is required.
3. Prelims: 3 all-skate heats to DJ music of different tempos
4. Semi-finals: 15 dancers for each role from the prelims; 3 all-skate heats to DJ music of different tempos
5. Finals: Spotlights to live band with 12-bar blues-structured music at a tempo to be determined on the spot. Each couple dances 2 spotlights
Newcomer Showcase
1. Open to swing dancers who start learning after June 1, 2023.
2. The price is a couple’s fee. A couple is registered only once.
3. Dance partners can be of either gender as long as there are only 2 dancers.
4. Format: Choreographed swing dance routine within 2 minutes of swing jazz music.
5. Prelims:
Please send the video to CLHC@swingtimeball.com before 24:00 on October 9, 2024. The name of the video should be “Newcomer – Couple name”. Self-recording without any editing is required. It must have a fixed camera position for fixed focus shooting and cannot zoom or manipulate the lens. The prelims will be assessed online by international teachers, and the finalists of 20 couples will be announced on October 16th.
6. Finals: Live performance at Main Venue, adjustment permitted. Please submit the final audio file of the performance track to CLHC@swingtimeball.com before 24:00 on October 26, 2024. The name of the final audio file should be “Newcomer – Couple Name”.

General Rules
参赛通用规则
1. 组织者
摇摆盛典2025组织团队是此次活动的组织方，组织方对此次活动及比赛拥有最终解释权。
2. 组织者职责
- 比赛安排 – 组织者将负责每一项比赛的实际执行，制定并提前告知参赛者比赛的时间和地点。组织者有权利对比赛日当天的日程进行微调。对于因不可抗力和官方原因取消的比赛项目，组织者将全额退还参赛者的报名费。
- 颁奖 – 组织者制定比赛的奖品奖项。
- 预赛、决赛、批次 – 在比赛开始前，组织者有权决定每个项目比赛是否设置预赛、或是否分批次比赛。比赛分组/批次将在现场公示。
3. 参赛资格
- 持有STB2025舞会通票或比赛日门票
- 在比赛报名通道报名，并完成缴费
4. 参赛者职责
- 规则 – 所有参赛者有责任阅读并了解所有的规则。所有参赛者均被视为已阅读并知晓本规则文件中的所有内容。
- 参赛者赛前会议 – 参赛者会议通常会在所参加比赛的当日进行，或以邮件形式传达和重申比赛形式、规则。参赛者有责任在比赛前了解比赛规则。
- 参赛顺序 – 部分比赛出场顺序，将在赛前线上会议中以抽签的形式确定。
- 赛前签到 – 在所参加比赛前15分钟进行比赛签到。如未到场，则有可能被取消参赛资格，视同弃权。
- 评分准则 – 全部比赛的评分采用相对排名系统（Relative Placement System）。
5. 取消规则
- 通票 – 9月20日前退票，我们将退还您所付票款的50%；9月21日及以后，官方不予退票。
- 转票 – STB不设置官方转票平台，但如您有所需要可以进行民间转票，但如果你的票种带有课程，则需转给同等级别以及同样角色的舞者。
- 比赛票 – 比赛票不退不转，如果您选择弃权比赛，可告知主办方。
